Join Saffron Building Society We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Servicing and Arrears Officer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient management of mortgage accounts, providing excellent customer service, and supporting customers in financial difficulty.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage mortgage accounts, ensuring accurate and timely servicing.
* Monitor and manage arrears cases, working closely with customers to find suitable solutions.
* Provide exceptional customer service, offering guidance and support to customers regarding their mortgage accounts.
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for all customer interactions and account activities.
* Identify and escalate complex cases to senior management as required.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems within the mortgage servicing and arrears team.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in mortgage servicing, arrears management, or a similar financial services role would be an advantage
* Knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and arrears processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide empathetic support to customers.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in using financial systems and Microsoft Office applications.
