Are you looking for a rewarding new part-time job with satisfaction you'd struggle to find anywhere else?
We've got just the opportunity for you!
Our amazing #TeamSchoolPark in Strichen is looking for new female colleagues on a part-time (25 hours per week), permanent basis.
The Role
As a Support Practitioner, no two days are ever the same. You'll be part of a fun, friendly team supporting five individuals with profound learning disabilities and complex needs to live in their shared home.
Your main responsibilities include supporting individuals with their daily needs, such as administering medication, physio activities, moving and assisting, personal care, appointments, and housework.
Some individuals enjoy being active in their community, so your activities may include walks, wheelchair bike rides, bingo, swimming, and leisure activities.
About You
No experience is necessary to start your career here; we recruit based on values. We will pay for your training and provide all practical skills needed.
We also fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and SSSC registration fees annually.
If you're not local to Strichen and are not a driver, you should be confident in traveling to shifts, as public transport options are limited.
What You Need to Bring
* A caring and compassionate attitude
* The ability to work well in a team
* Great communication and organizational skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Basic computer skills
Shift Patterns
Various contracts are available, including weekend-only options. Shifts generally run between 06:45-21:00 and include waking nights from 21:00-07:00. Shifts on weekends and public holidays rotate.
Waking night shifts are paid at your standard rate plus an extra £20 per night.
If you're interested, apply today! We look forward to hearing from you.
