We are seeking a skilled and proactiveHealth and Safety Managerto lead the development and implementation of corporate health and safety policies and procedures. This is a strategic role, managing the Health and Safety service and ensuring compliance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of corporate health and safety policies and procedures.
* Manage the Health and Safety service, including H&S Advisors and contracts such as Occupational Health and health surveillance.
* Represent the organisation at internal and external health and safety meetings and forums.
* Provide oversight and scrutiny of health and safety activities, with regular reporting to governance forums.
* Raise awareness and support managers in understanding their health and safety responsibilities.
* Promote a positive health and safety culture by working closely with senior leaders.
* Prepare information and guidance for projects in line with current Health, Safety, Fire, and Risk Management legislation and best practice.
