Event Sales Representative – Event Catering
Take Your Events Experience to the Next Level
We're looking for an experienced, confident, and customer-first individual to join our team as an Event Sales Representative. This isn't a junior role or a training ground — we want someone who knows how to sell events, build relationships, and deliver a smooth, enjoyable customer journey from first contact to confirmed booking.
Whether you've been working in wedding or event coordination and are ready to move into a more structured, office-based sales role, or you're an experienced telesales rep with a flair for nurturing long-term client relationships — this could be your next step.
The Role
You'll manage incoming enquiries, guide clients through the sales process, and ensure every event is handled with care and precision. You'll be part of a fast-paced, supportive sales team that genuinely puts the customer experience at the heart of everything. We are so proud of the culture our sales team has built and you will need to be a friendly and integrated team member.
We have two roles available:
– Monday to Friday 9.30-3pm with the occasional Saturday on rotation with other staff
All roles are office-based from our Long Eaton HQ.
Key Responsibilities
You'll manage everything from initial enquiry through to handover with our operations team. That includes calls, emails, quoting, following up, and keeping everything logged accurately in our CRM. You'll also be responsible for meeting personal sales targets of £35,000 per month, with 2.5% commission on all closed business deposits — expected to earn at least £200/month in bonuses on top of wages.
Day to day, you'll be:
– Handling incoming enquiries and following up proactively
– Building and maintaining warm client relationships
– Creating accurate quotes and proposals
– Hitting personal sales and call targets
– Recording all activity in our CRM
– Communicating updates to the operations and delivery teams
What You'll Bring
– Experience in wedding or event sales, coordination, or telesales
– Strong phone skills and the confidence to take the lead
– Natural relationship builder who listens as much as they speak
– Objection Handling Skills
– Speedy Response time
– Highly organised, detail-focused, and process driven
– Motivated by targets, but not at the expense of service
– A team player who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment
If you're ready to bring your events experience into a dynamic, office-based role — and want to be part of a business that's scaling fast and doing things differently — we'd love to hear from you.
