ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an Analyst Grade 2 to join our team in Aberdeen. In this role, you will work alongside the Team Leader/Supervisor, Senior Analyst, and Analyst Grade 1 to ensure day-to-day priorities are met. You will carry out analytical tasks, equipment calibrations, and prepare job reporting requirements. Acting as a role model, you will mentor junior team members and ensure compliance with QHSE processes.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience working in a UKAS-accredited laboratory or hold a relevant degree/HNC. You are highly proficient in MS Office, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, flexibility, and strong communication skills are essential. You will be hands-on, adaptable, and motivated to support both technical and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform daily analytical activities in line with technical standards and client requirements
2. Mentor and support junior staff in routine and new analytical techniques
3. Prepare accurate reports and maintain calibration standards
4. Represent Intertek externally with professionalism
5. Support new projects, method development, and validation work
6. Ensure compliance with QHSE standards (ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)
