Hours of work are Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day In line with Black Box’s growth plan and our continued success and expansion, a new opportunity for a Junior HR/Accounts Assistant has become available, working out of our headquarters in Chorley. Reporting directly to the Head of Accounts & Group HR Manager, our ideal candidate must be self-motivated with an eye for detail with a willingness to learn and have a strong teamworking ethic. Our ideal candidate requirements: Excellent organisation skills. Confident positive telephone manner. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Willingness to learn and help the team. Friendly, Flexible and Adaptable as our industry is very reactive. Work well under pressure. Strong communication skills are vital for this role. Ability to perform tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to communicate professionally with all departments throughout the company. Typical Responsibilities: Assist the Accounts & HR team with the following: - General Administrative Tasks Assisting with GDPR compliance Keep up to date with HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency Assist with the full end to end recruitment process. including tasks such as issuing offer letters, new starter documents and contracts and carry out inductions and onboarding process. Support various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and administration. Ensure supplier records are kept up date (changes to address, bank details, credit limits). Monitor the accounts email box throughout the day Internal system updates Checking supplier invoices Taking credit card payments over the phone Answering the phone Please note that experience would be desirable however it is not essential – full training will be given.
