In this post, you will respond to queries and referrals from a number of different sources and make contact with families and partner agencies. Working under an extremely supportive Management Team, you will work closely with the Locality Teams to ensure children and families are transferred with appropriate risk assessments, priority status and initial recommendations.
We also require our social workers within this team to provide day‑to‑day support and coaching to our Contact and Referral Officers who also work within the team.

Qualifications and Experience
Qualified Social Worker (DipSW or equivalent) with at least two years post‑qualifying experience. Experience of working within a MASH/Referral/Assessment environment would be desirable but not essential. You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to work well under pressure.

In addition to the salary advertised, you will receive a market premium of £2,750 per annum.
