What’s involved?
As the Restaurant General Manager, you will oversee a flagship dining venue, ensuring seamless operations and commercial success. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a blend of style, grit, and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
7. Operations: Full P&L responsibility, including cost control, forecasting, and revenue generation.
8. Leadership: Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of a high-performing front-of-house team.
9. Quality: Maintain impeccable standards of service and guest engagement, ensuring every visitor has a memorable “destination” experience.
10. Collaboration: Work closely with the Head Chef and F&B Manager to ensure a flawless flow between the kitchen and the floor.
11. Community: Act as a brand ambassador within the local Newquay community to build partnerships and drive local interest.
About You
12. Proven Experience: You have a strong background as a Restaurant GM within luxury or high-end lifestyle dining environments.
13. Pre-Opening Savvy: Previous experience with a “New Opening” is highly desirable.
14. Commercial Mindset: You understand the numbers behind the magic and know how to drive profitability without compromising on style.
