Lead Twilight Registered Vet Nurse - Fixed Term Contract
Location: Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists
Job Type: 12 months Fixed Term Contract
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
Hours: Full-time - 4pm - Midnight Monday - Thursday plus every other Friday with 1:3 Saturday night shifts - 8pm-8am

We accept referrals for Orthopaedic Surgery, Soft Tissue Surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Dentistry, Cardiology, Anaesthesia, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging, Oncology, Physiotherapy as well as Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) and a Pain Clinic.
We have comprehensive and established clinical and non-clinical programmes for training, development and CPD.
You can find us in Hampshire, just south of Winchester, close to the M3 and national and international transport links. We are in a serene countryside setting with state-of-the-art facilities and are available to look after pets 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Role:
The twilight shift is predominantly inpatient care including high dependency and assisting with out of hour emergencies and procedures. As Twilght Nurse Lead you will be expected to carry out effective managerial and administrative duties to enable the smooth running of your teams. You will also be providing continuous support to nursing staff to ensure that performance and clinical standards are met.
This is an exciting opportunity for an RVN already in a managerial type role to excel and progress within a busy referral nursing environment. To be considered for this role you must be:
* experienced in supporting staff
* well organised and hold great administration skills
* a strong leader with effective communication skills
* a self-starter with high clinical standards
* registered with the RCVS
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Previous managerial experience if preferred, however not essential
