Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Demand Planning Manager are:
* Leading a team of Demand Planners, who together:
* Manage service level for the country/MSU.
* Identify & resolve service risks, with escalation to the Central Planning for decision-making in case of stock shortages.
* Communicate product availability (including NPDs) vs demand to Customer Service.
* Monitor slow moving and potentially obsolete stocks, & propose improvement actions for approval by Central Planning.
* Execute local S&OP Demand meetings.
* Ensure that agreed target weekly service levels are achieved for the MSU.
* Identify & resolve service risks.
* Focus on talent management: people development and improving the capabilities of the Demand Planners team.
* Evaluate external customer satisfaction, define, and implement improvement activities based on these results.
Qualifications
Must have:
* Experience or potential to lead a team of 6-10 people.
* Highly analytical and accurate.
* Minimum 5 years of Supply Chain planning experience.
* Experience with SAP APO.
* Good communication skills and the ability to influence others.
* Eager to take ownership and initiative.
* Proficiency in English and the local language.
* Experience in FMCG sector.
* University degree or bachelor's degree & equivalent work experience.
