Are you a creative, emotionally intelligent graduate with aspirations to become a therapist - in art therapy, drama therapy, play therapy, or counselling?

A forward-thinking, inclusive primary school in Greenwich is seeking a Therapeutic Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and social-emotional challenges through imaginative, therapeutic approaches. Starting October 2025, this full-time, term-time role offers a fantastic launchpad into therapeutic and mental health careers.

You'll work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists to deliver nurturing, creative interventions that make a lasting impact on children's confidence, communication, and emotional wellbeing.


Role Summary - Therapeutic Teaching Assistant

1. Full-time, term-time role from October 2025 - July 2026

2. Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils with Autism, SLCN, and emotional regulation needs

3. Use drama, music, art, or play to support therapeutic and Teaching goals

4. Contribute to a compassionate, inclusive Teaching environment
