Creating a community of chances and choices at Oasis Academy Oldham.
Join us on our journey.
An exciting opportunity to join the team at Oasis Academy Oldham. Oasis Academy Oldham is a large co-educational school, which admits students from Year 7 through to Year 11. The Academy has been adapted to accommodate disabled pupils. All major entrances/exits are wheelchair-friendly and there are a number of toilets designated and adapted for disabled student use within the academy building.
We are looking to recruit a Principal’s PA, to provide effective and efficient administrative support. You will be the Principal’s first point of contact for people from inside and outside the academy. The role involves filtering information and supporting the Principal in making the best use of their time. You will ensure that the Principal meets all deadlines as requested by the regional and national OCL teams, the Local Authority, the DfE, and other regulators. The position supports the Principal in carrying out all strategic and operational duties efficiently and effectively, resulting in outstanding leadership and management of a harmonious academy.
The role requires the ability to speak fluent spoken English (Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016). The candidate must be able to undergo appropriate safeguarding and welfare checks, including enhanced Disclosure and Barring. The applicant should have strong administrative skills, the ability to work decisively and proactively, and experience in filtering and prioritising information.
