An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 registered nurse to join our stroke rehabilitation unit. Letham is a 14 bedded stroke rehabilitation ward with the community setting.
We are looking to appoint a nurse with a passion for delivering excellent standards of care. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
As part of the multi-disciplinary team work closely within the stroke services and also have regular contact with other specialities within the hospital and community setting.
You will have the opportunity to learn and develop specialist skills in the assessment and care of the stroke patient. You will be supported in your role with ongoing training which includes the completion of specific stroke care competencies.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
