Overview
We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team, responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures and facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in multiple trades, ensuring high-quality workmanship across all projects. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
* Construct and assemble building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames.
* Perform roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance of roofing materials.
* Carry out construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces.
* Execute plumbing installations and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
* Engage in masonry work, including bricklaying and stonework for structural integrity.
* Conduct welding tasks for metal structures or components as required.
* Apply electrical experience to install wiring systems and troubleshoot electrical issues.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
* Participate in fabrication processes to create custom components as needed.
Skills
* Proficient in carpentry techniques with a strong understanding of building codes.
* Experience in roofing practices with knowledge of different roofing materials.
* Skilled in construction painting with an eye for detail in finishing work.
* Competent in plumbing systems with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
* Knowledgeable in masonry techniques for durable construction solutions.
* Familiarity with welding processes for metalwork applications.
* Basic electrical experience is advantageous for completing installations safely.
