HGV Class 1 Driver

Location: Doncaster

Shift Pattern: (Full Time/Part Time available - no weekends)

Hourly Rate: £18.80 per hour

Occasional Tramping: £26 per night out allowance

Potential Temp to Perm!

About the role:

We are looking for Class 1 HGV drivers to join our client based in Doncaster, on a ongoing basis, with potential for temp to perm. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company that provides high-quality products across the UK.

Key responsibilities:

• Operating Class 1 HGV vehicles to transport goods to various locations across the UK
• Ensuring deliveries are completed on time
• Maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and conducting routine checks
• Completing delivery paperwork and ensuring accuracy of records
• Representing the company with a professional attitude when interacting with clients and the public

What we are looking for:

• Class 1 licence
• Previous experience as a Class 1 HGV driver (however, not essential)
• Flexibility for the occasional night out
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, especially in relation to safety and compliance
