Contract basis: 6‑month duration, UK aerospace programme, multiple positions available; outside or inside IR35.
Job Description
* Perform stress analysis of composite and metallic aerospace structures
* Produce stress reports and substantiation documentation to aerospace standards
* Support design, development, and qualification of composite components and assemblies
* Provide technical input to internal and customer design reviews
* Utilise industry‑standard FEA tools to support analysis activities
Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications
* Extensive experience as a Stress Engineer within the aerospace industry
* Strong background in composite stress analysis and substantiation
* Proficient with FEA tools such as NASTRAN / PATRAN, HyperWorks, or equivalent
* Understanding of aerospace certification and stress methodologies
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to support complex engineering decisions
