Full‑time, permanent opportunity to join the Land Development and Engineering team in an established environmental services and engineering organisation. The role involves contributing to the design and delivery of major development projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
You will lead and deliver innovative infrastructure designs across a range of exciting development projects, guiding them from concept through to completion and ensuring high‑quality solutions are delivered efficiently and within budget. You will collaborate with stakeholders and local authorities to secure technical approvals for adoptable works, including agreements such as S104, S38 and S278. You will ensure designs meet current industry Codes of Practice and health and safety standards, developing practical, sustainable engineering solutions.
Qualifications
Strong technical expertise in civil infrastructure design, particularly in highway design, ground modelling, drainage design and hydraulic modelling (including sustainable drainage systems – SuDS). Experience with external works level design, including Part M compliance, would be advantageous. Confidence in using industry software such as AutoCAD, PDS or XP Site 3D and MicroDrainage WinDES/Flow, alongside Microsoft Office tools, is required.
