Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship – Muddy Boots (Room Leader – Baby Room)
Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship – at Muddy Boots, Kinson.
Muddy Boots Kinson is located within the grounds at Kinson Academy in Bournemouth. They are open Monday to Friday 8am-6pm all year round, catering for babies, two-, three- and four-year-olds. The nursery building is separate from the school and runs independently, following the same vision that the other Muddy Boots follow. We have high aspirations for all children, and they will leave us having built strong attachments, having good language and communication skills, eating a well-balanced nutritious diet, having a love for play, and a strong connection to nature.
Ofsted said "the curriculum is broad and ambitious for all children. Staff organise activities and experiences to meet children's individual needs and nurture their curiosity".
The teachers at Muddy Boots are interested, responsive and excited by the experiences they are sharing with the children.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

* Thinking of creative and exciting sensory opportunities. Being able to offer outdoor learning opportunities and adapting these to a younger age range.

* Baby room routines followed
* Build positive partnerships with parents
* Plan activities and learning walks with the children
* Maintain safe and naturing environment for the children
* To be hands on undertaking all aspects of personal care.
Requirements;
* A Level 3 Childcare qualification is essential
* You must be able to gain a clear DBS
* Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent
Hours;
* The setting is open from 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday
* The successful candidate will be required to work 38 hours per week
