We are seeking a dedicated Site Total Facilities Manager to join our team at HMP Chelmsford, a category B & Adult/Male prison.

HMP Chelmsford operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to keep it functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, you will be crucial in ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, families, and the wider community.
Work alongside passionate colleagues, including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a secure environment.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in facilities management
* Experience managing budgets and staff
* Desirable: Experience in a prison or military environment
* Recognised apprenticeship in a facilities/building services trade or two years of relevant experience
* IOSH Qualification (desirable)
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent organizational, time management, and people skills
