My client is a leading manufacturer of custom-made steel door solutions in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area. They are looking for a Regional Sales Manager providing support to both new and existing customers.
This exciting role encompasses both leadership and operational responsibilities across a defined geographic area. The RSM will ensure alignment with company goals by implementing sales strategies, including interior, exterior, commercial, and specialty doors.

You will be responsible for:
* Communicating with existing customers to ensure opportunities to quote and secure contracts
* Using the Sales Database to track and contact existing and potential customers
* Using other resources, e.g., internet, trade journals, for potential future business
* Locating and targeting new markets for our products
* Planning and prioritising activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving business aims, including costs and sales
* Planning and managing the territory according to market development strategies
* Managing product pricing and margins as per aims
* Assisting in preparing customer estimates and supporting the internal sales team to generate quotes
* Using contact activities tools and updating relevant information in systems
* Responding to and following up sales enquiries appropriately
* Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities
You will have:
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar sales role
* Familiarity with door manufacturing and hardware (highly desirable)
* Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques
* A good standard of Maths and English
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Ability to take ownership and see tasks through to completion
* Resilience and ability to manage a large workload
* Professional demeanour
