A Process Engineering Lead / Senior Process Engineer / Lead Process Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer / Industrial Engineer required for a global manufacturer in Huddersfield. The successful A Process Engineering Lead / Senior Process Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer / Industrial Engineer will be responsible for implementing process improvements, Continuous Improvement initiatives and managing the maintenance schedules for production machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing process improvements in a manufacturing setting, have hands on experience in maintenance and exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, Lean etc). Package £45,000 to £50,000 Day shift Holiday pensionResponsibilities for Process Engineering Lead / Senior Process Engineer / Process Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer / Industrial Engineer Lead process development activities, improving safety, quality, cost, and delivery across fabrication operations. Design and improve tooling, jigs, fixtures, and shopfloor layouts to reduce setup time, increase consistency, and support new equipment introduction. Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training materials while supporting skills development and process standardisation. Manage maintenance activities, including planned and reactive work, contractor coordination, CAPEX planning, and equipment upgrades. Drive quality and continuous improvement through RCA, corrective actions, process capability analysis, and reduction of scrap and rework. Analyse operational data (cycle time, yield, downtime) and work cross-functionally with design, production, and quality teams to support new processes and equipment.
