Ignition Driver Recruitment is currently recruiting for a 360 Transport Clerk, to be based at our client Transport office inManchester.
Transport Clerk - Role & Responsibilities
Briefing/debriefing drivers
Supporting fleet changes (actions & communications)
Monitoring vehicle maintenance to ensure legal compliance
Coordinate & support vehicle maintenance (scheduling, MOTs and Servicing)
Provide Transport and Planning data via the Management Information System
Support with compliance escalations
Support with site specific projects
Assist with fleet transitions between depots
Ensure continuous development within your role
General administration duties to support the department
Updating KPI'S/performance trackers
Transport Clerk - Working Hours
The role is working any 5 out of 7 days,and the shift times are16:00 to 00:00.
Transport Clerk - Candidate Requirements
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, experience of building and maintaining relationships internally and externally
You must be able to work under your own initiative, as well as part of a larger team
You should be confident with your own time management
You will have a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
You will understand the legal demands of working within the driving sector (such as WTD, HGV License requirements, Infringements etc)
You will be able to demonstrate 12 months experience working in a similar role
