Are you passionate about crafting compelling proposals and seeing the winning results? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment, working with diverse teams and clients? If so, we want you!\n\nCBRE GWS is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Bid Manager to join our team.

\n \nAbout the Role:\n \nAs an Assistant Bid Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our organisation by leading and overseeing the project management and governance of the sales process, particularly at the Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) stages. You will partner with the Sales Director and Division sales team to ensure our proposals are differentiated, innovative, and client-focused. \n\nKey Responsibilities:\n \nAttracting Clients:\n\nGuide and encourage Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Business Unit Sales Coordinators (BUSCs) in client research to support client cultivation.\nAssist with preparing materials for prospective client meetings and presentations.\nLead (or support) the coordination of Divisional events by contributing to content, themes, and materials.\nCollaborate with the Strategic Development Lead to support BDMs and BUSCs in developing vertical markets.\n \nRFI and RFP Process:\n\nEnsure Request for Information (RFI) questionnaires are submitted to a high standard.\nOversee the entire proposal lifecycle (initiation to submission).\nDevelop win themes, write compelling responses, and craft executive summaries.\nReview and improve content for clarity and differentiation.\nEnsure final document quality through editing and design.\nPrepare the team for post-proposal activities.\n \nKnowledge and Process:\n\nPartner with the Sales Director and Business Uni Directors to embed and improve processes and knowledge across the Division.\nMaintain an up-to-date content library with professional profiles, account profiles, and case studies.\nProactively stay informed about CBRE and industry knowledge, sharing insights with your team and integrating them into bid responses.\nMaintain consistent processes with BDMs and BUSCs to ensure accurate Salesforce reporting.\n \nWhat You'll Need to Succeed:\n \nExceptional Communication & Leadership: Strong writing, editing, and articulation skills; ability to lead and influence.\n \nStrategic & Results-Oriented: Understands client needs, drives high-quality proposals, and focuses on winning outcomes.\n \nOrganised & Detail-Oriented: Excellent project management, time management, and meticulous attention to detail.\n \nProactive & Efficient: Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and work with a high level of energy.\n \nTech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint) with experience in SharePoint, InDesign, SmartSheet, and Salesforce (desirable).\n\nQualifications:\n\nHigher educational qualifications to degree level would be beneficial.\nStrong bid writing and editing skills are essential.

Past bid writing and management experience in a sales environment is beneficial.\n \nDesirable Experience:\n\nExperience working in a bid management and/or sales environment\nExperience writing and managing proposals\nExperience of meeting tight deadlines\nExperience motivating, training and leading teams\nExperience of dealing with and co-operating with a wide range of people\n \nAdditional Information:\n \nFlexibility: Must be flexible to work outside core office hours to meet tight deadlines.\n \nTravel: This role may require occasional travel to other work locations for team meetings
