Production Assistant
Location:Witney
Pay Rate: £15.29 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (07:00am - 07:00pm)
We are seeking a dedicated Production Assistant to join a leading global healthcare company in Witney. In this role, you will be a vital part of a team manufacturing essential medical diagnostic products in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As a key member of the production team, you will ensure the manufacturing process runs smoothly and efficiently. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Machine Operation: Setting up and operating production machinery strictly according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Quality Assurance: Monitoring processes to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records, including data entry into batch records and producing reports with clear, legible handwriting.
Collaboration: Working closely with your immediate team and other departments to maintain workflow efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
To succeed in this position, you should be a team-oriented individual with strong organizational skills. Requirements include:
Core Skills: A fundamental understanding of Math and English (required for machine settings and data entry).
Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to write clearly and legibly.
History: You must be able to provide a 5-year reference history (employment or alternative activity) to undergo the required background checks.
The Package
Competitive Pay: £15.29 per hour.
Balanced Schedule: A consistent 4 days on, 4 days off rotation (12-hour shifts).
