Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Sous Chef located in Falmouth. The Senior Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef - Dale McIntosh in managing the kitchen operations. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, developing new menu items, overseeing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met, and managing inventory and supplies. The Senior Sous Chef is expected to uphold the restaurant's commitment to using local produce and maintaining culinary excellence.
Qualifications
* Experience in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, with a strong focus on presentation and taste
* Skills in menu development and creativity in dish planning
* Ability to manage and oversee kitchen staff, providing leadership and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
