Learn more about what sets us apart here. About The Role Knight Frank are looking to hire a Property Administrator to join our Rural Asset Management team in Horsham! This position is offered on a 12 month Fixed Term contact basis. You will join an established, friendly and collaborative team, working across a varied rural estates and properties and supporting the delivery of a high standard of service to clients and tenants. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate property records, estate terriers, and compliance data using property management software Prepare reports on property information, key dates, and compliance requirements Take ownership of property systems, ensuring data integrity and supporting/training users Support process improvements through standard templates and agreed automation Manage tenancy administration, including onboarding new properties, drafting particulars, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and completed on time Prepare and issue tenancy documentation (hard copy and DocuSign), register deposits, and complete CDD checks in collaboration with relevant teams Support end-of-tenancy processes, including check-outs and deposit releases Coordinate compliance administration (e.g. Gas Safety, EICR, EPC), ensuring all records and deadlines are up to date Maintain diaries and records for inspections, maintenance, and key tenancy milestones, including tracking follow-up actions Coordinate maintenance and contractor activity, including routine and reactive works, refurbishment projects, and contractor onboarding/renewals Liaise with contractors, track progress, and maintain accurate contractor records Manage financial administration, including rent demands, debtor reporting, rent collection support, supplier invoices, and tenant recharges Handle tenant enquiries, resolving or escalating issues as appropriate Experience Required: Previous administrative experience, ideally in property, estates, or facilities management Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using digital systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team Interest in rural property or estate management desirable Competitive salary Please note: this is a Direct Search led by Knight Frank.
