Since mid-2023, our Northern Ireland division has experienced significant growth, driven by successful framework wins with the Health and Social Care (HSC) sector and partnerships with private, voluntary, and not-for-profit organizations.
Our commercial team is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Manager to lead this growth, drive operational excellence, and develop high-performance teams in the region.
Role Overview:
The Business Manager for Northern Ireland will oversee the division's operations and strategy. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will lead the team, drive performance, business development, and client relationship management. You will manage the P&L for the division and collaborate with senior leadership to shape long-term vision and strategy.
This role involves working with central operations teams responsible for talent attraction, compliance, candidate file maintenance, and shift booking, ensuring the commercial team can focus on client and candidate engagement.
This is a senior leadership role requiring a highly experienced individual with proven healthcare recruitment expertise and a track record of managing growing teams in Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Divisional Leadership & Growth Management:
* Lead and manage the Northern Ireland division, overseeing sales, business development, and recruitment.
* Drive growth through successful framework wins with HSC and expand in private, voluntary, and not-for-profit sectors.
* Oversee recruitment strategy and talent acquisition for staff and healthcare candidates.
* Implement candidate acquisition strategies to maintain market competitiveness.
* Financial and Operational Accountability:
* Own the division's P&L.
* Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial targets.
* Align KPIs and activities with business strategy.
* Lead, motivate, and develop the commercial team, supporting career growth.
* Manage recruitment and talent succession planning.
* Coordinate with central teams to ensure smooth operations.
* Business Development & Client Management:
* Build and maintain relationships with key clients across sectors.
* Represent the company at meetings, conferences, and tenders.
* Drive new business opportunities and increase market share.
* Strategic Planning & Reporting:
* Lead long-term growth strategy aligned with market opportunities.
* Report on divisional performance and financials to leadership and board.
* Act as liaison between Northern Ireland operations and central teams.
