Position: Teaching Assistant - Part Time - Day to day.
Location: Liverpool
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and nurturing individuals looking to support pupils across different year groups and make a real impact in the classroom.
Successful candidates will work across the school, supporting pupils with a variety of learning needs and helping them access the curriculum in a positive and engaging environment.
Role Responsibilities:
Support pupils in whole-class, small group and 1:1 settings
Assist teachers in delivering lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment
Help prepare learning resources and support classroom organisation
Provide additional academic, social and emotional support where needed
Encourage positive behaviour and support daily school routines
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and senior leaders
Requirements:
Experience supporting children in a secondary school setting
A patient, nurturing and supportive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to support across different year groups
Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred but not essential
