Hybrid Working (Surrey or Manchester)
We are partnering with a high-growth B2B SaaS organisation (~£20m ARR) entering an exciting new scale phase. With a newly appointed CEO and a strong “people-first, move-fast” culture, the business is now strengthening operational leadership to support product maturity, platform scalability, and cost-efficient growth.
They are looking for a Head of Operations to lead Operational Excellence across DevOps, IT, Security and Platform Operations, with a strong emphasis on FinOps / Cost-to-Serve accountability and platform reliability at scale.
This is a pivotal, visible role reporting directly to the CTO.
The Opportunity
You’ll shape the operational strategy and modernise how the platform is managed, driving reliability, observability, automation, and cost efficiency. You’ll manage the Head of DevOps and work closely with Product, Engineering and Finance to ensure the platform is secure, resilient, scalable and commercially efficient.

What You’ll Lead
* Operations strategy across DevOps, IT, Security and Platform Operations
* Reliability, performance and availability of a cloud-native SaaS platform (AWS / serverless)
* Cost-to-Serve ownership and cloud cost visibility / optimisation
* Maturing observability, incident management & operational governance
* Uplifting DevOps engineering practices and platform automation, use of AI
* Vendor & outsourced IT partner management
* Supporting a high-change organisation scaling for enterprise success
What You Bring
* Senior leadership experience across Operations / Platform / DevOps
* Strong experience working in B2B SaaS environment
* Strong AWS knowledge and experience with modern delivery & automation practices
* Demonstrable FinOps / cloud cost management experience
* Comfortable transforming systems, processes, and culture at pace
* Ability to balance innovation with stability, scale and cost discipline
* Clear communication and stakeholder leadership skills
Bonus but not required:
PE-backed scale-up experience, ISO27001 leadership, DORA/ITIL familiarity.
Package & Working Model
* £120k–£150k base (depending on experience)
* Benefits package + 4.5-day work week (paid for 37.5 hours)
* Hybrid: 2 days per week in either Manchester or Surrey
