The Field Service Engineer - Food Pro plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our food processing equipment at client sites. This is a hands-on position requiring technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be the face of Bizerba, delivering exceptional service and support to our valued customers across the region.
* Provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for Bizerba food processing and weighing equipment.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently to minimise downtime for customers.
* Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.
* Collaborate with the technical support and engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
* Maintain accurate service records and reports using company systems.
* Advise customers on best practices for equipment operation and maintenance to optimise performance.
* Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with product knowledge and industry trends.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while working on customer sites.
* Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, preferably within the food processing or engineering sectors.
* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
* Experience with industrial weighing, slicing, or labelling equipment is highly desirable.
* Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
* Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.
* Good IT skills, including familiarity with service management software.
