Event Organizer – Spacebar Arcade (Sunderland)
About Us:
Spacebar Arcade is Sunderland's retro arcade and cocktail venue, open late and packed with classic pinball machines, arcade cabinets, and themed events. We're looking for a creative and driven Event Organizer to join our team and take our student nights, theme nights, and special events to the next level.
The Role:
As Event Organizer, you'll be responsible for planning, promoting, and delivering events at Spacebar Arcade that bring in new customers and keep regulars coming back. You'll have the freedom to create unique ideas – from Freshers' parties to gaming tournaments, themed cocktail nights, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
•* Plan and deliver engaging events for students, gamers, and night-out crowds.*
•* Work with management to set event calendars and budgets.*
•* Coordinate staff, performers, and suppliers as needed.*
•* Promote events through social media, flyers, and partnerships.*
•* Track performance and customer feedback to grow future events.*
What We're Looking For:
•* Experience in event planning, hospitality, or marketing is essential.*
•* Creative ideas and a passion for nightlife, entertainment, or gaming culture.*
•* Strong organisational and communication skills.*
