The Digital Systems Deployment and Support team is responsible for the implementation, development, and ongoing management and support of the Trust's Digital Strategy, which aims to transform the Trust into a "digitised enterprise".
This involves delivering cutting-edge computer systems and applications to improve patient care and operational benefits.
The Digital Clinical Systems Training Department provides end-user training and ongoing support for these systems. This role involves working within a team to develop, maintain, and deliver training.
Please note that this vacancy does not meet UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa, and HUTH cannot issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a Clinical Systems Training and Development Officer with experience in developing and delivering end-user training, preferably within an NHS environment, using clinical and patient administrative systems. The candidate should demonstrate ability to work as part of a team and meet strict deadlines, as well as work independently.
Travel between hospital sites and external venues may be required. Part of the work may be from home.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Essential: Degree or equivalent NHS experience as a clinical system user
* Training Qualification to Level 3 or equivalent in education
* Desirable: PGCE/Cert Ed
Experience
* Essential: Experience in training course design, delivery, and providing end-user support
* Desirable: NHS experience with clinical systems or educational settings, trainer of clinical/non-clinical applications, IT training course design
Skills
* Effective communication and presentation skills
* Good planning, organisational skills, and proficiency in PC and MS Office
* Understanding of Information Governance, security, and confidentiality
* Ability to work independently and proactively, motivate others, and take responsibility
* Desirable: E-Learning skills, experience in an office environment, ECDL/Advanced ECDL, knowledge of Trust IM&T strategy
Other
* Flexible, adaptable to workload, willing to undertake additional duties

This role requires a DBS check due to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975 (Exceptions Order 1975).
