Position:
Two long-standing interiors titles, Your Home and HomeStyle, are two of the biggest magazine brands in the sector, with over 1 million combined users every month. Aimed at house-proud interiors-lovers, Your Home inspires and empowers its readers to make their dream forever home a reality with affordable ideas, makeover stories and helpful craft and DIY advice. HomeStyle is aimed at first-time buyers and renters, and its readers are passionate about renovating and entertaining and love to keep ahead of the trends with stylish hacks, real home makeover stories and helpful upcycling and DIY advice. The magazines produce 13 issues a year, plus a bonus Christmas issue.
Working as part of a busy editorial team, the Production Editor is responsible for organising the editorial production of the magazines to the highest possible standard and to deadline, while ensuring consistent editorial tone on every page. The Production Editors shares control of the copy flow with the Editor for both current and future issues to make sure that all issues run smoothly. The Production Editor is also responsible for commissioning and writing regular pages each issue, working alongside the Editors to develop their ideas and copy writing skills, as well as honing their subbing and editing skills. The role demands the highest subbing, writing and organisational skills.

Requirements:
Essential Requirements:
Excellent command of – and creative flair with – written English.
Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
First-rate communication skills.
Ability to work effectively and flexibly within a team.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Excellent organisational abilities, with experience of each stage of print editorial processes and prioritising workloads.
Adobe InDesign, Word, Excel and general Mac skills.
Knowledge of the interiors market, or at least a keen personal interest in home décor, home improvement, craft and/or food.
Desirable Requirements:
Experience of writing for the interiors market.
Experience in a role that is split across two teams.
Experience of creating successful content for Apple News+.
Experience of DIY and home improvement in your own home (rented or owned).
