Job Purpose
Your role will combine frequent field-based activity, telesales appointment setting and outbound engagement to maximise outreach.
* Business Parks:
o Identify, map, and penetrate business parks across LightSpeed's footprint. (Norfolk, Midlands, Lincolnshire & Essex).
o Build relationships with landlords, managing agents, occupiers, and park associations to secure strategic agreements.
o Deliver tailored broadband and connectivity solutions for multi-tenant environments.
* Reseller & Channel Partnerships:
o Recruit, onboard, and manage new reseller and channel partners.
o Develop joint business plans and sales enablement programmes with partners.
o Monitor partner performance and drive joint pipeline growth.
* Multi-Stakeholder Management:
o Engage and influence multiple decision-makers, from landlords and property managers to IT managers, procurement, and finance stakeholders.
o Align diverse interests to secure multi-party agreements that unlock long-term revenue.
o Navigate complex buying groups in both direct and channel sales models.
* End-to-End Lead to Cash:
o Own the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through to contract negotiation, order delivery, and revenue realisation.
o Ensure smooth handover into operations and billing, working cross-functionally to remove barriers and secure cash collection.
o Track pipeline conversion and revenue recognition to ensure forecast accuracy.
* Core New Business Hunting:
o Proactively prospect, book appointments and generate new opportunities across SME and mid-market segments.
o Deliver consultative sales conversations, negotiating and closing deals to exceed sales targets.
o Develop acquisition strategies informed by market intelligence and competitor insight.
* Collaboration & Strategy:
o Feed market insight into product, marketing, and operations teams to refine propositions.
o Work closely with senior leadership to shape LightSpeed's business park and channel strategy.
o Represent LightSpeed at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Experience
* Proven track record of winning new business in a B2B environment (telecoms, IT, or connectivity preferred).
* Experience selling IT solutions into strategic customers, i.e. resellers, business parks, commercial landlords, property developers.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex deal cycles.
* Strong hunter mentality who thrives on prospecting, networking, and closing deals.
* Strategic thinker with ability to build scalable acquisition strategies, not just one-off wins.
* Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills at senior level.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience of the lead-to-cash cycle.
* Resilient, proactive, and motivated by targets in a fast-growth environment.
* Familiarity with advanced sales methodologies such as Challenger or MEDDICC (MEDPIC) will be considered a strong advantage.
