Supporting food manufacturers and retailers with product innovation including: rheology, new product development, value optimisation, instructional development, pilot plant, quality and food safety manufacturing, thermal processing, new technologies, and regulatory affairs.
What Youll Be Doing
Executing technical food and beverage related projects / research, much of which will be practical work in our pilot plant facilities. This is a very hands-on role requiring an ability to manage your own time and meet deadlines.
Developing knowledge of a huge range of equipment to include operation, maintenance and records (60%)
A good balance of office-based activities collecting project data and preparing client reports. As experience develops there will be more scope to expand the role in this area including proposal writing. (20%)
In time, providing support to practical delivery on training courses and presentation on external/internal training courses (5%)
Assisting in health & safety, hygiene, good manufacturing activities (10%)
Contribute to idea generation for the group (5%)
What Were Looking For
1-2 years Industrial food manufacturing experience would be an advantage
A degree in Food Science & Nutrition, Food Science & Technology or equivalent or 3+ years experience in the industry with A levels or equivalent will also be considered
Good verbal & communication skills
A passion in food and interest in food processing equipment
A strong team player with a willingness to learn new skills
Effective time management skills relating to effective delivery and business practices
Full UK/EU driving license
