We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious private paediatric therapy clinic based in Central London, seeking a Team Lead and Senior Occupational Therapist to join their growing multidisciplinary team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a well-established, specialist clinic that has built a strong reputation for excellence in paediatric therapy and sensory integration. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping clinical practice, mentoring therapists, and delivering high-quality care to children and families.
The Role
This hybrid position combines clinical delivery (70%) with team leadership and project work (30%), offering a dynamic and rewarding balance. You’ll report directly to the CEO, a renowned expert in paediatrics and sensory integration, and collaborate closely with a passionate team of therapists.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise a team of occupational therapists, including weekend practitioners.
* Deliver expert clinical services, including assessments and sensory integration interventions.
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of team members.
* Contribute to strategic planning, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Act as a point of contact for complex cases and stakeholder engagement.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* HCPC registered with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Experienced in paediatric therapy (minimum 7 years), with strong sensory integration expertise.
* A confident leader or senior therapist ready to step into a management role.
* Skilled in balancing clinical and administrative responsibilities.
* Passionate about making a difference in the lives of neurodiverse children and their families.
* Desirable:
o Advanced Sensory Integration training (e.g., SIPT certification).
o Experience with Ayres Sensory Integration equipment.
o Background in multidisciplinary settings.
