The Company Were partnering with a well-established and expanding manufacturing business. With continued investment in innovation, facilities, and people, the company is looking to strengthen its commercial and technical team with an Estimator / Project Engineer who can bridge the gap between estimation, engineering, and delivery. The Role This is a varied, technically engaging position that combines estimating and project engineering. Youll play a key role in preparing accurate costings and quotations, while also managing projects through the early stages of production ensuring that technical specifications, timelines, and customer expectations are fully aligned. Day-to-day, youll be: Reviewing engineering drawings and specifications to produce detailed and accurate cost estimates. Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to source pricing and lead times for materials and services. Calculating material, labour, and overhead costs to prepare quotations and tender documents. Collaborating with design, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and efficiency. Acting as a technical liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure clear communication throughout each project. Supporting project planning, scheduling, and change management during early project phases. Identifying value engineering opportunities and recommending cost-effective solutions. About You Were looking for a well-rounded professional with both commercial and technical understanding: Proven experience as an Estimator, Project Engineer, or similar within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings (CAD experience advantageous). Excellent numerical and analytical skills with solid commercial awareness.
