Event Manager
Hybrid - Rye, East Sussex (2 days onsite)
Up to £44k + Bonus
Ark Recruitment are working with a well-established and growing events agency to recruit an experienced Event Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of high-profile client events.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing complex projects, building strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional event experiences within a fast-paced agency environment.
We’re ideally looking for someone with around 3+ years’ experience in a similar Event Manager or Project Manager role, with strong operational, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
The Role
As Event Manager, you’ll act as the primary lead across your allocated events, overseeing everything from project planning and budgeting through to onsite delivery and post-event reporting.
You’ll work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure every event is delivered to the highest standard, on time and within budget.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys taking ownership, and can confidently manage multiple moving parts simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end management and delivery of client events
* Manage event timelines, budgets, logistics, and operational plans
* Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
* Coordinate suppliers, venues, production teams, and third-party partners
* Monitor project budgets and ensure financial targets are maintained
* Identify opportunities for upselling additional services where appropriate
* Ensure all events are delivered in line with client expectations and company standards
* Produce event documentation, reporting, and post-event evaluations
* Attend events onsite and oversee successful execution
About You
* 3+ years’ experience within an Event Manager or similar project delivery role
* Strong experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
* Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and timelines
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Calm under pressure with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Confident working collaboratively across internal teams and external suppliers
* Passionate about delivering high-quality event experiences
* Agency or client-facing events experience would be highly advantageous.
