M4 Specialist are currently recruiting Refuse Loaders on behalf of our well-respected client, Bristol Waste Company, to support their refuse and recycling collection operations across the city.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 06:00 AM
14:18 PM
Pay Rates:
£12.21/£18.00 per hour - Standard/Overtime (first 12 weeks)
£14.58/£21.87 per hour - Standard/Overtime (after 12 weeks)
Your Role:
As a Refuse Loader, youll play a vital role in helping keep Bristols streets clean and ensuring timely waste and recycling collections for the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
Collecting refuse and recycling from residential and commercial properties
Sorting and safely storing materials back at the depot
Following all Health & Safety procedures, including safe manual handling practices
Using handheld IT devices and completing basic paperwork
Providing excellent customer service to the public, including handing out leaflets and sharing information
Staying in touch with supervisors to help support daily operations and customer service
Being flexible to support various services, such as Commercial, Street Cleansing, Garden Waste, Refuse & Recycling across sites (Hartcliffe, Avonmouth, Albert Road)
What Were Looking For:
Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 25kg and pushing/pulling bins
Great team player with strong communication skills
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Flexible and willing to support Saturday shifts after bank holidays
Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
