A well-established and reputable law firm in Nottinghamshire is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join their Residential Property team at their Southwell office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly and professional environment at the heart of a historic market town.
You’ll be managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. The role will require a proactive and confident approach to client care and case handling in line with Lexcel and CQS quality standard.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
* Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements and other legal documents
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors to progress matters smoothly
* Ensuring compliance with Lexcel and CQS quality standards
* Conducting property searches, reporting to clients, and managing enquiries
* Submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
* Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring deadlines are met
What we need from you:
* Prior experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload
* A strong understanding of conveyancing processes and compliance requirements
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team culture
* Excellent attention to detail and client care skills
* Experience working to Lexcel or CQS standards is desirable
