Job Description
Development Scientist II – Analytical Development
Industry: Pharmaceutical / Vaccine
Are you an experienced Development Scientist with a strong background in analytical method development and validation? If so, I’d be keen to speak with you.
We are representing a mid-sized pharmaceutical company focused on the development and manufacturing of immunology focused vaccines. The organisation has an established presence in the market and continues to invest in R&D to support pipeline and product development.
A key opportunity has arisen to appoint a Development Scientist II, playing a central role in the development and validation of analytical methods from early-stage through to full validation. This role is focused on end-to-end method development, including writing and executing validation protocols in line with ICH Q2(R2) guidelines.
The position is hands-on in the lab, working across a range of analytical techniques including ELISA, HPLC, and other wet chemistry assays. The successful individual will be responsible for developing robust, compliant methods to support product development and manufacturing processes.
In addition, the role will involve interaction with external regulatory authorities, supporting submissions and ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations. Experience working with external vendors or managing third-party relationships would be advantageous.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on laboratory work with structured validation and regulatory-facing activities within a growing pharmaceutical environment.
We are seeking candidates with proven experience in analytical method development and validation within a regulated setting, ideally within pharma, biologics, or vaccines.
