Teaching Personnel are pleased to be supporting a high‑performing secondary school in Fleet seeking to appoint either an experienced Teacher of Chemistry or an ambitious Head of Chemistry to join their thriving Science department.
This is a fantastic full‑time opportunity for a passionate Chemistry specialist with excellent behaviour management, strong subject knowledge and a commitment to raising achievement across KS3–KS4.

Role Responsibilities
Teacher of Chemistry
Deliver high‑quality Chemistry lessons across KS3–KS4
Create engaging practical and theoretical learning experiences
Track, assess and monitor progress to raise attainment
Maintain strong routines and a calm, purposeful learning environment
Contribute to curriculum planning, department development and wider STEM initiatives
Head of Chemistry
Provide clear, proactive leadership for the Chemistry team
Drive curriculum development and assessment strategy
Model outstanding teaching and support colleagues to improve practice
Lead data analysis, progress monitoring and intervention planning
Champion high expectations, behaviour routines and a positive culture
Ideal Candidate
You will:
Hold QTS with a strong specialism in Chemistry
Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and classroom consistency
Deliver engaging, ambitious learning experiences that stretch all abilities
Evidence success in raising achievement across KS3–KS4
Communicate professionally and collaboratively with staff, students and parents
Be committed to continuous professional development
Show ambition to progress (for teachers seeking a Head of Chemistry route)
