1:1 SEN Support Assistant – KS2 – Chelmsford

Contract: Full-time
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Chelmsford, supporting a Key Stage 2 pupil.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), who is passionate about making a positive impact on a child’s learning and development.
Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN
* Experience working within a primary or mainstream school setting
* Understanding of the KS2 curriculum
* A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil
* Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
* Support emotional, social, and academic development
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
