A client of ours in the Bury St Edmunds area are recruiting a Temporary Shipping Administrator to join their team ASAP. This is a full-time, office-based position working Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am - 12:30pm, paying a negotiable salary depending on experience.
Your key duties in this Shipping Administrator role will include but are not limited to:
Arranging distribution of finished goods in line with the daily shipping schedule
Generating and collating shipping documentation for UK and international shipments
Booking collections and producing shipping labels in line with carrier guidelines
Liaising with customers, freight forwarders, and 3rd party carriers
Managing proof of delivery (POD) documentation and assisting with invoicing
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
Previous experience in a shipping/logistics or dispatch environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confident working with shipping software and documentation
Knowledge of international shipping compliance and customs requirements
