Civil Enforcement Officer - Walsall - Part time - 24 Hours per week - £17,110.08 per annum
First Month of employment: £12.21 per hour
After 1st month of employment: £13.71 per hour
Essential: Full Manual Clean UK Driving Licence
Would you enjoy working outdoors? Do you have good communication skills? Do you want to make a difference in your local area? Civil Enforcement Officers patrol assigned areas to ensure neighbourhood safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities include:
* Enforcing on-street permitted parking policies and issuing Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) for breaches.
* Recording, reporting, and taking action on defects in street furniture and suspect vehicles.
* Representing the company and council, promoting good public relations, and advising on parking matters.
* Using radio and Hand-Held Computer Terminal (HHCT) equipment properly.
* Attending judgment hearings to provide endorsing information for contested PCNs.
* Reporting issued PENs and issues to supervisors after each shift.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Good written and spoken English.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Smart, professional attitude.
Work Schedule:
Shifts of 3 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday, between 07:00 and 22:00, as per rota.
