Location: Dorchester
Join Serco as a Field Officer for Electronic Monitoring in Dorchester, United Kingdom. This role focuses on delivering electronic monitoring services with a focus on safeguarding and supporting the community.
Responsibilities
* Visit individuals in their homes to install tagging equipment, working alone or with a Monitoring Support Officer.
* Build confidence with individuals and support the justice system by ensuring safety for them and the public.
* Contribute to reducing pressure on the prison system and help ex-prisoners reintegrate into the community.
* Work on a rolling rota with a typical average week of 37.5 hours, including daytimes, weekends, and bank holidays; shifts may vary from 5pm to 1am.
What you need to do the job
* Commitment to making a difference to the lives of others; prior work history is less important than your willingness to learn during training.
* 2 weeks initial training plus shadowing & mentorship from experienced colleagues.
* Current valid UK driver’s license, reasonable fitness, and strong written and verbal communication skills to build relationships with individuals you meet.
