What can you expect from assistant manager position?
* You will work closely alongside the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
* Supervise front-of-house team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Manage bookings and host a busy service in our thriving gastropub.
* Communicate well with house keeping, ensuring standards are maintained in our five hotel rooms and room bookings managed effectively.
* Provide a welcoming experience and exceptional level of customer service to all our guests.
* Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure the bar and front of house is well-stocked.
* Provide training and support to new staff members.
* Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Experience
* Previous experience in a management role within a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred.
* Proven ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of service.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
