About the role As a Trainee Beautician you will work alongside our experienced team of hair and nail technicians, learning a wide range of treatments and techniques in a live salon environment. From your first week you will be hands-on, developing your skills and building relationships with our loyal client base under full supervision and guidance. Your day-to-day duties will include Assisting with and progressively delivering a range of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel, acrylic, and nail art Supporting and learning hair services including blow-drying, styling, treatments, colouring, and cutting techniques Providing a range of beauty treatments including eyebrow shaping, threading, waxing, tinting, and lash treatments Welcoming clients warmly, conducting consultations, and understanding their individual needs and preferences Maintaining an immaculate, hygienic work station and salon environment at all times in line with health and safety standards Preparing treatment areas, mixing products, and ensuring all tools and equipment are sterilised and ready for use Building strong, lasting client relationships and delivering an outstanding customer experience at every visit Handling bookings, client records, and till transactions professionally and accurately Recommending retail products and treatments to clients in a genuine, knowledgeable manner Keeping up to date with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and product knowledge About you A genuine passion for beauty, hair, and nails — and a desire to build a professional career in the industry No prior experience or qualifications required — full training is provided from day one Any previous experience in a salon, beauty, or customer-facing role is a bonus but not essential A natural flair for creativity and attention to detail in everything you do Warm, confident, and professional — able to make every client feel at ease Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of presentation and hygiene A team player who is also able to use initiative and work independently as skills develop Flexible — able to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings in line with salon hours Right to work in the UK What we offer Full trainingHands-on hair, nail, and beauty training from day one — fully funded by us London pay rate £11.44–£13.00/hr plus tips and commission on top Immediate startStart within days of a successful interview Career growthClear progression to qualified technician and senior stylist roles Staff discountsGenerous discounts on all salon treatments and retail products Supportive teamA friendly, creative team environment where you are supported to grow If you have a passion for beauty and are ready to turn it into a career, we would love to meet you.
