As a Mental Health Support Worker within the REST Stop Service, you’ll provide responsive hands-on support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, delivering therapeutic interventions that help people stay safe, and develop the skills needed for recovery in a supportive and compassionate environment. In this role no two days are the same. You’ll offer person-centred, trauma-informed support through one-to-one and group activities, while assessing and managing risk in a recovery-focused way. From overseeing referrals, admissions, and discharges to working closely with partner agencies, supporting with medication, and keeping care plans on point, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring each person receives high-quality, support that truly makes an impact. Who we’re looking for: Experience in the mental health sector, working directly with clients to delivery effective interventions Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships whilst maintaining professional boundaries.
