Marketing Lead – Creative and Planning

Salary: £30,000-£40,000 (dependent on experience)

Full Time: 35 hours per week

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Monthly travel involved to our offices in London or Folkestone

Saga Insurance is seeking a Marketing Lead to support the Marketing Manager; Creative & Planning by translating marketing campaign briefs into high-performing, platform-ready creative. This role will be the primary contact for creative coordination, working closely with our in-house creative team to build key creative plans. You will support the delivery of through-the-line creative from concept to completion across channels, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with the customer journey and overall brand vision.

You should demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, collaborate effectively with internal and external parties, and showcase creatives that drive performance and innovation. You will also engage with other teams such as Brand, Risk & Product, and our marketing agencies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning and Coordination: Manage creative requests, coordinate production schedules, support quarterly creative refreshes, and ensure consistency across marketing channels.
2. Asset Management: Handle creative approvals, supply assets to media agencies, and support QA processes across various marketing activities.
3. Creative Excellence: Bring customer insights to life, maintain creative catalogues, and foster innovation through industry trend awareness.


Ideal Candidate

Experience in creative campaign planning, especially digital. Strong communication skills, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and a good understanding of digital marketing channels are advantageous. Technical skills should include organization, project management, and creative marketing expertise. Behavioral skills include curiosity, creativity, logical thinking, enthusiasm, results orientation, and commercial awareness.
